Terms of Service

Effective October 15, 2026

These Terms apply to services provided by A B Comp Services Inc. ("we," "us"), 4751 NW 15th St, Coconut Creek, FL 33063, and to use of abcompservices.us. Business clients with a signed service agreement are also bound by that agreement, which controls where it differs from these Terms.

1. Services

We provide computer and laptop repair, data recovery, virus removal and security services, networking and Wi-Fi installation, upgrades and custom builds, and managed IT support, in our shop, on-site, or remotely.

2. Estimates and authorization

• Diagnostics are charged at the rate stated on your ticket. The diagnostic fee is credited toward the repair if you approve the estimate.
• We provide a written estimate before performing repairs. No repair work begins without your approval, given in writing, by email or text, or by a recorded phone call.
• If we find that the job will cost more than the approved estimate, we stop and ask before continuing.
• Estimates are valid for 14 days because parts availability and cost can change.

3. Your data

• You are responsible for backing up your data before service. Hardware can fail during diagnosis or repair regardless of care taken. We can make a backup for you on request at an additional charge.
• We are not responsible for loss of data except where it is caused by our negligence.
• Software and licenses must be legally owned. We will not install unlicensed software.

4. Parts

We use new original-manufacturer or quality-equivalent parts, as described on your estimate. Replaced parts are returned on request at pickup; otherwise they are recycled. Special-order parts may require a deposit.

5. Warranty

• Our workmanship is warranted for 90 days from pickup or job completion. If the same repair fails in that period, we fix it again at no labor charge.
• Parts carry the supplier's warranty, which we will help you claim.
• The warranty does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, software changes, or tampering after service, or unrelated faults.
• Liquid-damage repairs and data recovery are provided without a workmanship warranty, as outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

6. Payment

Payment is due at pickup or job completion. Business clients are invoiced per their agreement. Accepted methods are listed at the counter and on invoices.

7. Unclaimed devices

We will notify you when your device is ready. Devices not collected within 30 days of notification may incur a storage charge. Devices not collected within 90 days after written notice to your last known address may be treated as abandoned and disposed of in accordance with applicable law; data on abandoned devices is securely wiped before disposal.

8. On-site and remote work

For on-site visits you agree to provide safe access to the work area. Remote sessions begin only with your permission, and you may end a session at any time. We do not run electrical wiring; electrical work is performed by a licensed electrician.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages such as lost profits or business interruption. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act or other law that cannot be waived.

10. Complaints and dispute resolution

Contact support@abcompservices.us or call (954) 972-4659 with your ticket number. We acknowledge complaints within one business day and provide a written response within ten business days. If we cannot resolve the matter informally, both parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation in Broward County, Florida, with mediator costs shared equally, before filing suit. If mediation fails, disputes will be resolved in the courts of Broward County, Florida. Either party may bring an eligible claim in small claims court.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version in effect when you approve a job applies to that job.
